Macrogol is a PEG -high molecular weight polymer which is non-toxic, pharmacologically inert, and virtually unabsorbed. The macrogol attracts and holds water in the bowel for effective stool softening. The electrolytes in MOVICOL help mitigate the possibility of electrolyte imbalance and dehydration.

MOVICOL has a 4 in 1 action

  1. Hydrates and bulks
  2. Softens
  3. Triggers natural movement in the bowel
  4. Lubricates the stool

MOVICOL is lactose free, gluten free, sucrose free

For effective relief from constipation and treatment of chronic constipation; treatment of medically diagnosed faecal impaction.

Instructions

Dosage: one sachet per 125mL of water

Storage

Store below 25°C

Warnings

Do not take MOVICOL Lemon-Lime if your doctor has told you that you have:

  • an obstruction in your intestine (gut)
  • a perforated gut wall
  • severe inflammatory bowel disease, like ulcerative colitis, Crohn‘s disease, or toxic megacolon
  • paralysis of the bowel
  • an allergy to macrogol or any of the ingredients.
